DHP-1000 Down Hole Probe
Revolutionizing On-Site Analysis of Ores
Austin AI's DHP-1000 is a high performance down hole probe, based on Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry for the determination of minor and major concentrations of elements in bore holes and other matrices. This instrument provides years of reliable, fast and accurate analysis. The system is ruggedly designed and engineered for routine usage by non-technical personnel in a field deployable environment.
The DHP system can be lowered down a pre-drilled hole up to 100's of meters. An optional specially engineered stand allows the operator to perform benchtop-type XRF analysis while in the field. The Down Hole Probe revolutionizes in-situ characterization, providing real-time cencentration information in three dimensions - no waiting on lab results.
Built to Withstand The Elements
This hearty instrument is comprised of rugged stainless steel and aluminum housing, which encloses a powerful, miniaturized X-ray tube and Si PIN-Diode detector. Available analysis windows range from a durable window that is extremely resistant to stressful environments and sample conditions to a thin window which allows analysis of light elements such as Al. Electronics, power supplies and surface communication devices are externally located, but if required, can be minimized to fit this form factor.
A remotely located PC with a Windows® based OS controls instrument operation, data collection and analysis results.
